1. About these terms

These terms apply when you use sparesexpert.com.au or buy from us. By placing an order you agree to them. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded.

2. Who we are

This store is operated by SPARES EXPERT PTY LTD (ABN 69 703 672 628), trading as Spares Expert. You can contact us through our contact page or at sales@sparesexpert.com.au.

3. Products and compatibility

We sell compatible replacement parts for vacuum cleaners. They are not original manufacturer parts and are not made, supplied or endorsed by the vacuum brands named on this website. Brand and model names are used only to describe which models a part is made to fit, and all trade marks belong to their owners.

Each product page lists the models a part is made to fit. Please check your vacuum's model number before ordering. Product photos are a guide; colours and minor details may vary slightly from the images.

4. Prices and payment

All prices are in Australian dollars. Shipping costs are shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is processed through Shopify's secure checkout using the payment methods shown at checkout.

If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price because of an error, we may cancel the order and refund any amount paid; we'll contact you before doing so.

5. Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we dispatch the goods. We may decline or cancel an order — for example if an item is unavailable or we can't verify payment — and if we do, we'll refund any amount paid.

6. Delivery

Orders ship from Australia and are dispatched within 48 hours. See our shipping policy for details. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

7. Returns and consumer guarantees

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. See our refund policy for change-of-mind returns and for how to report a faulty, damaged or incorrect item.

8. Using this website

You may use this website for personal, non-commercial shopping. You must not misuse it, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access it in an unauthorised way. Content on this website, including text, layout and graphics, belongs to us or our licensors and may not be copied without permission.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, and subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, our liability for goods that are not of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic or household use is limited to replacing or repairing the goods or refunding the price paid. We are not liable for loss caused by fitting a part to a model it is not listed for, or by using a part other than as intended.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown on this page when you place an order applies to that order.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
